Design Your Own Wallpaper

Wallpaper has made a notable comeback this season, finding its place in various settings such as restaurants, hotels, retail outlets, and most importantly, in homes. At the Australian Museum of Design, we work with the professional team at Signature Prints who have been synonymous with wallpaper printing since the 1990’s.

Signature Prints use the highest quality NWB paper – instead of the more commonly used wood chip derivative which stretches when wet and contracts when dried leaving the seams to show.

When it comes to wallpaper design, printing and production, there is something very special in creating your own wallpaper design in colours that resonate with your personal style.

Embrace this exciting time and transform your home with a bespoke wallpaper that captures your personal vision.

Whether you gravitate towards vibrant and bold hues or prefer a more tranquil and understated palette, our team is here to guide you through the process of bringing your vision to life.

Designs from the AMoD design library have been used for wallpaper in public buildings such as commissions by the NSW Government, Department of Public Works, for NSW Parliament House, and Old Parliament House in Sydney.

Designs include retro works from Australian iconic textile designers from the 1960’s, 70’s and 80’s from David Miles, Noel Lyons, Bruce Clarke and many more thousands.

More recent works include designs from Collette Dinnigan and Mary Clark.
